Mother accused of leaving toddler in frozen car

(KUSA) – A 2-year-old boy was left in a car during subzero temperatures Friday night in Thornton, Colorado.

Thornton officers say they found the toddler in a snow-covered car Saturday afternoon, suffering from severe hypothermia and frost bite.

Carmon claims she was in a car accident with her son the night before and left to get help, but so far Thornton's investigation shows that's not true.
