Woman, 8-year-old girl injured in crash

HOUSTON – Police are searching for a person responsible for a hit-and-run crash Oct. 4.

Police said the driver at fault ran a stop sign at Milart and Cosby streets, slamming into another vehicle that had the right of way.

A woman and her 8-year-old daughter were in the vehicle that was struck. It flipped due to the collision, police said. Both suffered serious injuries.

The person at fault drove away in a red Pontiac Grand Prix.
