KATY, Texas – The Grinch came early this Christmas.
Cameras caught a thief stealing a Christmas decoration from a homeowner’s lawn in Katy on Wednesday.
Surveillance video from the home on Kenlake Drive shows the thief driving up to the home, pulling the display out of the ground and driving away with it.
The decoration is 5 feet tall.
The homeowner said the decoration has sentimental value because her mother made it more than 25 years ago.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police.
