Man robs Mont Belvieu Subway at gunpoint, police say

MONT BELVIEU, Texas – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Subway restaurant Saturday in Mont Belvieu.

According to the Mont Belvieu Police Department, an armed man walked into a Subway in the 11500 block of Eagle Drive, jumped across the counter, threatened employees and demanded cash from the register.

Police said once the man got the money, he left on foot, heading north on FM 565.

The man is described as black, approximately 5 feet 7 inches and 170 pounds, with multiple tattoos on his face, including the letters FTW across his forehead and another of a cross on the bridge of his nose between his eyes.
He was wearing a white shirt, dark-colored pants and blue shoes.
