WEBSTER, Texas – A mother has been charged with abandoning her child after she left the child home alone while she was at work, police said.
Mary Hart left her daughter, who police said was under the age of 15, unsupervised on Dec. 14 in their apartment at 800 West NASA Parkway in Webster, Texas, officials said.

Hart bonded out of jail and is set to make a court appearance on Friday, according to court documents.
