All lanes of Beltway 8 north at JFK Blvd reopen after crash involving school bus

11 sutdents were on board; none injured

HOUSTON – Westbound traffic on Beltway 8 was slowed at John F Kennedy Blvd after a crash involving an Aldine Independent School District bus.

A representative for Aldine ISD said the bus driver hit the back of another vehicle.

There were 11 students from Hall Center for Education on board the bus at the time of the crash. None of the students were hurt, the district said. 

The four people inside the vehicle were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The crash was reported just after 9 a.m.

Police are investigating what caused the bus driver to hit to hit the vehicle. 

Commuters should expect delays in the area.
