Big names to perform with Houston Symphony this weekend

HOUSTON – The voice behind Prince Hans in Disney’s hit movie “Frozen” and one of the faces of NBC’s “Shades of Blue” is performing with the Houston Symphony.

Santino Fontana will be joined by his wife, Jessica, a fellow Broadway star who starred as Cinderella, for the “Very Merry Pops” concert Dec. 2-4.

"We welcome the children and the families who love 'Frozen,' as do I,” Santino Fontana said. “And we may be singing a song from 'Frozen.'"

In addition to that song, Santino and Jessica Fontana will be join the Houston Symphony Chorus to perform various holiday classics, like “Silver Bells” and “Let it Snow!”

For the first time this year, the "Very Merry Pops" concert will be led by Principal POPS Conductor Designate Steven Reineke, who has worked with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Peter Frampton.
