1 dead after collision in NW Harris County


NORTHWEST HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A crash turns deadly in northwest Harris County after a collision between two vehicles Saturday night. 

A man was driving a Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD pickup northbound on West Montgomery road took a left turn onto West Mount Houston around 9:15 p.m. Saturday, deputies said.

According to officials, as the man turned left, he pulled in front of Michael Taylor driving a Ford Crown Victoria heading southbound on West Montgomery Road, and collided nearly head-on with the vehicle.

The man driving the pickup was not injured, but Taylor was killed upon impact, deputies said.
Authorities said no alcohol was involved in the accident.

Officials said the man driving the pickup had a dashcam on at the time and deputies will be reviewing it to see who had the red light.
