Houston PD, Crime Stoppers look to identify men on surveillance camera

HOUSTON – Police want to know who stole several pistols from a gun store in Houston.

Two men were caught on surveillance camera in connection with the theft, Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department said Monday.

Investigators are offering a reward of up to $5,000 to anyone who can provide information that leads to an arrest in the case.

The burglars struck at around 12:30 p.m. Sept. 9, at a store in the 9000 block of Westheimer Road.

The men entered the shop together. The suspect in the red shirt pretended to be a customer while the man in the black shirt grabbed several guns and stuffed them into his pants, according to a news release from Crime Stoppers.

The suspect in the black shirt left the store first. He also wore a gray baseball cap, blue shorts and gray and black shoes. The man in red followed. He also had on khaki pants with red and black shoes. It’s not clear which way they ran.
