GALVESTON, Texas – A woman was flown to the hospital from a Disney cruise ship off the coast of Galveston after she fell down stairs Monday night.
According to the Coast Guard, the incident happened about 8 p.m. aboard the Disney Wonder, which was 50 miles east of Galveston.

Officials said the 66-year-old woman suffered a skull fracture and bleeding.
The Coast Guard dispatched a helicopter to the ship and flew the woman to the University of Texas Medical Branch, officials said.
Officials said the woman was last listed in stable condition.
