Man shot after dropping family off at Pasadena apartment

PASADENA, Texas – A man was shot in the leg just before midnight on Oct. 29, according to Pasadena police.

The man dropped his family off in front of their apartment in the 900 block of Austin Avenue, but since there were no parking spaces near the building, he parked in an available parking space a short distance away, police said.

After parking, the man began walking to his apartment, as can be seen on surveillance video released by police.

As he was walking through the parking lot, a passenger in a small gray car fired several shots at him, striking him once in the left thigh, according to police.

The man was taken to the hospital via helicopter in unknown condition.
