Conroe police arrest final person linked to jewelry store robbery

Bond was set at $150,000 on each person


CONROE, Texas – On Oct. 3, Conroe Police officers were dispatched to a report of an aggravated robbery at Jeff’s Jewelry, located at 4890 West Davis Street in Conroe according to a news release from authorities.

The complainant and witnesses that were on the scene said that the suspects entered the jewelry store armed with handguns. 

The suspects allegedly demanded money, then went on to try to break the display cases to take the jewelry that was on display. 

According to police, a shootout ensued between the suspects and store employees. As a result, one of the suspects, Javian Deon Jackson, 21, of Houston, was killed. The remaining suspects, who detectives said entered the store, then fled in a white Dodge Charger.

Conroe Police Detectives have since secured and executed warrants on all remaining suspects. The suspects are identified as Santo Lacharles Stephens, 20, Kadarius Krisshawn Royston, 23, Sedrick Jermaine Townsend, 36, and Coredarian Javonte Bailey, 20, all of Houston. Bond was set at $150,000 for each of the suspects, the release explained.

Although the investigation is ongoing, police believe they have taken all parties involved in the robbery into custody.
