Starbucks introduces coffee-beer hybrid drink

Starbucks has a new handcrafted drink at its Starbucks Evenings stores.

The new hybrid treat. the Espresso Cloud IPA, mixes espresso and craft beer.

The drink is made by shaking espresso over ice with orange pieces and vanilla. As it's shaken, the espresso creates a cloud of foam that is  layered on top of an IPA after it's poured.

An 8-year Starbucks barista, Justin Burns-Beach is credited with developing the coffee-beer collision.
