A Precinct 4 deputy was traveling north down I-45 when a vehicle struck the cruiser and fled, according to Harris County Deputies.
The deputy was traveling north up I-45 near Little York Road around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle struck the cruiser forcing the cruiser, to roll over, deputies said.

The deputy was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The vehicle involved in the accident left the scene, according to authorities.
