CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Authorities are searching the waters off near the Bridgeport Condominiums, near the 300 block of Padre Island Boulevard, for a man who went missing Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
Friends of Mohammed Alsubaie, 22, who had been swimming with him just off the beach, contacted police after they couldn't find him. Officials said he wore yellow swim trunks.

A boat crew was sent to search for the man. The U.S. Coast Guard said watchstanders launched an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew.
