HOUSTON – A woman is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in north Houston.
According to police, she was trying to cross West Rittenhouse and 45 when she was hit by a car.

Investigators said the driver did not see the woman.
She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The driver is not expected to face any charges in the crash.
