CONROE, Texas – All lanes of I-45 south were closed at Gladstell in Conroe after an 18-wheeler caught fire Friday morning.
The fire was reported around 2:48 a.m.

The truck appeared to be jackknifed again the median wall.
The driver was taken to the hospital. His injuries were not known.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A hazmat crew worked to clean up the road, which was reopened just before 7:30 a.m.
