A stolen truck was recovered, but the thieves escaped after a carjacking in north Houston.
Police said a group of men went up to the victim as he was leaving a nightclub off Northline Drive around 2:30 a.m. Friday.

The men assaulted the victim and took the keys to his truck, according to police.
Officers later spotted the truck and chased it down.
They recovered the vehicle, but the thieves got away.
The victim was not taken to the hospital.
