Police look for hit-and-run driver who killed pedestrian
Victim died from injuries
HOUSTON – Police are searching for a driver who hit and killed a person walking in southwest Houston on May 31.
Investigators believe a blue or black colored SUV or a newer model Jeep with tinted windows hit the person on Beechnut St. and took off without rendering aid.
The victim was taken to Southwest Memorial Hospital,where he died.
The suspect's vehicle should have damage to the hood, windshield, right passenger side mirror, and the right passenger side doors.
Crime Stoppers will pay a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and/or arrest of the driver in this case.
