HOUSTON – Police are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian accident at a west Houston apartment complex.
Investigators said a woman was found lying in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Gentryside around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

She was taken to Memorial Hermann hospital, where she died.
They believe she had been run over by a vehicle that left the scene.
Police said there weren't any witnesses.
