Paralympians make pit stop in Houston before Games in Brazil

HOUSTON – Rio de Janeiro is getting ready to host the Paralympic Games, but before the athletes left for Brazil, they made a pit stop in Houston.

The cameras were there as Team USA got their hands on their Olympic wardrobe on Thursday.

Athletes were fitted for everything from thier Opening Ceremony outfit to Olympic rings.

Besides getting their gear, the athletes had the opportunity to mingle with each other and get excited about the Games.

"We all feel like Cinderella right now," Lacey Henderson, Team USA Track and Field Team said.

Now that they have their gear, the athletes are prepared to head to Rio de Janerio.

The Paralympic Games start Sept. 7.
