CHANNELVIEW, Texas – Authorities said they are looking for a man who ran from a traffic stop Tuesday morning near Channelview.
According to Precinct 3 deputy constables, authorities tried to stop a vehicle on Beltway 8 for not displaying a license plate. The driver sped away as constables were approaching the vehicle.
The vehicle later stopped in the area of Jacintoport Boulevard near Penn City Road, constables said. A man jumped out of the vehicle and ran from authorities.
Video from Sky2 over the scene showed authorities concentrating on a pickup truck that was stuck on railroad tracks.
