HOUSTON – One man was killed when he was hit and killed Monday while riding a bike in northwest Houston.
Investigators said a man possibly in his 80s tried to cut across West 43rd at Sue Barnett around 11 p.m. when he was hit by a car.

Police said the driver of the car stayed at the scene and tried to help the man.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
