METRO service issues affect morning commute


HOUSTON – METRO is experiencing service issues on the Red Line that will impact the morning commute, it posted on its Facebook page Monday morning.

Limited train and bus service will be provided until the issue is resolved, METRO said.

Commuters should expect delays and allow more time or find alternative routes.

According to METRO, the service outage is expected to especially affect the Smithlands Station.

It is unclear how long it will take to resolve the issue.
