HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Harris County deputies said they are looking for a man who is accused of dragging a woman out of her apartment Friday night and beating her.

The attack happened about 11 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 17200 block of Hafer Road.

According to investigators, a woman called deputies and said that Adams had smashed through the patio door at her daughter's apartment. When she went to her daughter's apartment, she couldn't find her.

A security guard told the woman that Adams had dragged a woman to his vehicle and began hitting her, according to investigators. When the security guard tried to stop the attack, Adams drove away with the woman.

Deputies said they went to Adams' home, where they found the victim, who was suffering from a busted lip and injuries to her face. Adams fled before deputies arrived.

Adams was described as black, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and weighing 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted on a charge of assault on a family member.

Anyone with information on Adams' whereabouts was asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office at 713-274-9210.
