Man charged with hitting teenage daughter with cord
HOUSTON – A man is in custody after authorities say he beat his 14-year-old daughter with an electrical cord. Francisco Javier Aranda-Quintanilla, 32, is charged with injury to a child.
The incident was reported Aug. 7 in the 300 block of Victoria after Aranda-Quintanilla caught his daughter talking on the phone with a boy. He then tied her hands with a belt and beat her with a cord, according to Houston police.
