Several thieves wanted, thousands stolen in ATM credit card skimming operation

HOUSTON – At least 144 accounts were compromised when thieves used credit card skimmers to clone credit-debit cards and steal about $61,500 from various ATMs across Houston, authorities said.

The first ATM skimming device was installed in March and removed in April, police said. The second ATM skimming device was installed and removed in April.

Cameras at the machines captured photos of several of the people believed to be involved and the cars they were driving.
