HOUSTON – Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy on the body of a man found in an advanced state of decomposition.
Police believe the man may have been living in a shelter at 12300 Beechnut St., where his body was found.

His body was found around 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
The man's identity and cause of death are awaiting the autopsy results.
