24-year-old woman charged in fatal hit-and-run
HOUSTON – A 24-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in a fatal hit-and-run crash.
Nancy Carolina Campos is charged with failure to stop and render aid after the incident at 7200 Cook Road.
Campos was southbound in a white Nissan truck on July 21 around 8:45 p.m. when she struck an 82-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the street, according to police.
Campos then left the scene, police said.
Officers found the truck at Campos' house. She was detained for questioning and then charged.
