Cab driver stabbed to death by 2 customers

HOUSTON – One man is facing capital murder charges and police are searching for another man wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a cab driver on July 2.

Dajour C. Wilkerson, 19, has been charged with capital murder.

Police said Wilkerson and another man, who goes by "Reaper," were picked up by Alireza Kheyrandish, 59, a cab driver for Lone Star Cab Company around 4 a.m. at 5900 Bissonnet.

Wilkerson and the other man attempted to rob Kheyrandish, fatally stabbed him and stole his cab, according to police.

The cab was found at 6650 Dunlap the next day.

Wilkerson was arrested on July 14 without incident.

The second man is described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds, with a dark complexion and muscular build.
