HPD: Armed robber enters restaurant using drive-thru window in NW Houston


HOUSTON – Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a northwest Houston restaurant at gunpoint.

Houston Police Department investigators said a man entered a restaurant in the 10400 block of Highway 290 by using the business’ drive-thru window March 31, shortly before midnight. Police said the man was armed with a semi-automatic pistol and robbed several employees of their property before taking an undisclosed amount of money from a safe inside the location.

He then left the restaurant on foot in an unknown direction, officers said.
