The bear was seen earlier walking around the neighborhood, trying to get into trash cans, before it decided to go for the home instead.

It's estimated the bear was 3 feet tall and weighted over 100 pounds.

To get it out, police officers opened the garage door and waited.

An officer shot the bear after it came out, but did not cause any major injury.

The bear eventually ran off into the woods. The Fish and Wildlife Department tracked it and said it should make a full recovery.
