Two men on the run after violent robbery in southwest Houston

Police are searching for a pair of men who robbed a person at gunpoint in southwest Houston. 

The robbery happened on Bankside and Bob White Drive on May 17 at 7 a.m.

According to police, the victim received a call to help one of the robbers, known as J.T.

When the person arrived, a second suspect came and forced the victim inside the backseat of his car with a gun.

J.T. got into the front seat and began to drive the victim's car, while the victim was being robbed in the back by a second suspect. 

The person's wallet and other belongings were stolen. He managed to escape by  to pulling the gun away from the second suspect.

Both the suspects took off in the car, which has not been seen since. Police are now searching for the 2009 gray Jaguar XF with the paper plate 53L1476

They are described as two black males. 

Crime stoppers is offering a reward of $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
