Men rob northeast Houston grocery store at gunpoint

HOUSTON – Crime Stoppers and Houston police are searching for two men who robbed a northeast Houston grocery store at gunpoint.

Police said two men went into the store on Lee Road on May 18.

One of the men acted as a lookout while the other man demanded money from the store employee.

The two stole money from the cash register and ran away.

Police said the first robber was a black male, late teens to early 20s, approximately 5 feet nine inches to 5 feet 10 inches, 130-150 pounds, wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, white tennis shoes and dark blue or gray basketball shorts.

The second robber was described as a black male, late teens to early 20s, approximately 5'9"-5'10", 130-150 pounds, wearing a black hat, mask, T-shirt, pants, and shoes.

Police believe the two men are involved in other robberies in the area.
