The homeowner said she heard a noise and thought someone was breaking in.

When she saw smoke, she yelled for everyone to get out of the house.

Everyone made it out safely, but a firefighter suffered minor burns.

Tuesday is the birthday of the family's teenage daughter.

"Today is my daughter's 15th birthday, and we don't have anything," said homeowner Cherie Baker. "All we have is the clothes on our back right now."

The family is still looking for a pet who disappeared during the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
