Victims shot at during attempted robbery at Houston gas station, police say

HOUSTON – Police are searching for three men who attempted to rob two victims at a gas station in the 3700 block of South Gessner Road on April 21.

Police said as the two victims were walking out of the gas station they were approached by the men, who demanded money.

The victims ran to their car after seeing that one of the men was armed with a pistol. Police said the armed man fired several shots, striking both doors on the victim's vehicle.

Officials said the victims were able to get away without being harmed and the would-be robbers left in an unknown direction.

Police identified the assailants as Hispanic men. One was wearing a black hat with red lettering, a black shirt, camouflage pants and white shoes.

The second one was wearing a black shirt, black pants with white stripes and boots, and he was holding a blue backpack.

The third man was wearing a black hat, a red sweatshirt and blue-and-white shorts.
