Police searching for 2 men who robbed NE Houston food mart

HOUSTON – Police are looking for two men who robbed a Food Mart in the 8800 block of the North Loop East on April 2 around 6:26 a.m.

According to police, two men -- one armed with a gun -- entered the northeast Houston store and demanded the cashier to open the cash register.

Police said one of the men opened the register and took an undisclosed amount of cash and stole several packs of cigarettes as they left the scene in a stolen black truck.

The robbery was caught on surveillance cameras.

One of the men is described as black, wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt with a white mask, blue jeans and blue gloves.

The other man is described as black, wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt with a black mask, blue jeans and blue gloves.
