Police: Gas station clerk shoots customer during argument
TEXAS CITY, Texas – Texas City detectives are investigating a shooting on Tuesday around 6:23 p.m.
Police said an Omni Gas station clerk and a customer got into an argument in the 5900 block of FM 1765.
According to police, during the argument, the clerk pulled out a handgun and shot the customer in the hand and back.
The customer, 26, was taken to Mainland Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries in a separate vehicle, and the clerk was not at the scene when police arrived. Both the clerk and customer have been identified by police.
No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed in this incident.
