HOUSTON – Police are searching for the gunman who shot and injured a man in southeast Houston.
Police responded to the shooting on Schroeder and Griggs at around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. Officers found a man laying in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Investigators say the man was alert at the time when police arrived. On his way to Ben Taub Hospital, however, he needed to be revived.
He was eventually transferred to Memorial Hermann, where he remains in critical condition.
