Argument over woman leads to stabbing in northeast Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – One man is in critical condition and another is in police custody after a stabbing in northeast Harris County.
Police said the two friends got into an argument over a woman around 3 a.m. at the Valero in the 6600 block of FM 1960. During the argument, one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.
The suspect got into his car and drove a few blocks down the road and called 911.
The victim was flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in serious condition.
The suspect, who told police he felt threatened and acted in self-defense, was arrested and faces aggravated assault charges.
