Man accused of robbing store, hitting employee with a case of beer

Houston Police need the public’s help finding a man who they say robbed a convenience store and hit an employee with a case of beer.

Police say the man walked into the store on East Crosstimbers Street. and grabbed two cases of beer from the cooler.

The man then ran out of the store without paying for the items.

A store employee ran outside in an attempt to stop the theft. The man struck the employee in the head with a case beer.

The employee stopped chasing him after getting hit in the head and the man ran down Toliver Street.

The man is described to be African American with a slim build, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt with lettering “Lrg,” black shorts and white Nike high tops.
