BANGKOK, Thailand – It was a terrifying moment for a Thai man when a 10-foot python bit his penis while he was sitting on the toilet at his home in Bangkok.

"All of the sudden, while I was holding it, it began to lose some strength. So I used my hand to prise open its mouth, then the snake released its grip by itself," Attaporn Boonmakchuay said.

Boonmakchuay called his wife and neighbor for help as he fought the python off.

Emergency crews dismantled the toilet while the snake was still in it. They had to take part of the toilet outside and untangle the snake.

The python was released back into the wild, according to NBC News.
