SUGAR LAND, Texas – A woman was found semi-conscious in a stairwell of a parking garage in Sugar Land Town Square on Thursday, according to police.
Just before 4 p.m., a passerby found the woman with severe injuries. The woman was taken to the hospital via helicopter.

Police do not know how she fell.
The outdoor staircase is 5 stories tall, while the parking garage is 6 stories tall.
Police said the woman appears to be in her 40s and was able to talk to paramedics about her injuries, not how she fell.
