ALHAMBRA, Calif. – A California homeowner caught a woman attempting to steal packages from his front yard.
The man captured his confrontation with the would-be package thief on camera.

He arrived at his home Tuesday afternoon when he saw a woman walk up to his front door and pick up two packages, according to Alhambra police. That's when the homeowner started recording.
"You know I live here?" the homeowner tells her. "If I were you I'd put those down."
"You don't live here. This is my mom's house," the alleged thief said.
When the homeowner threatened to call police on her, she said, "Take your s--- then," dropped the boxes and walked off.
Police released the cellphone video in hopes someone can help identify her.
