Man's Houston murder charges transferred to Louisiana courts
HOUSTON – There are some new developments in the case of a man accused of shooting an Austin judge, among many other crimes.
Second Degree murder charges against Chimene Onyeri, 28, for the May 18, 2015 murder of Jacobi Alexander in Houston will be dismissed and adopted by the State of Louisiana as a part of a Racketeering indictment.
Onyeri will be moved to Louisiana as a part of the deal.
Onyeri is also linked to the attempted murder of Austin Judge Julie Kocurek last November.
