Man with 'poor hygiene' sought in sexual assault

Woman says man assaulted her after she left bar

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Hays County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in tracking down a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault in San Marcos.

The Sheriff's Office said a 22-year-old woman was drinking at a bar around 3 a.m. Friday when she got sick, stepped outside and began vomiting.

She was approached by a man who asked if she needed help, authorities said. He then pulled her into his car and drove to an unknown location.

The Sheriff's Office said the man dropped the woman off at a home in San Marcos and left. The woman, who had blacked out, said she woke up and realized she had been assaulted.

The man is between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 120-135 pounds. The woman also told authorities the man, pictured in a sketch above, had very poor hygiene.
