Police need help finding man wanted for Galleria-area robbery

HOUSTON – Houston police are asking for the public's help finding the man responsible for a robbery in the Galleria area.

On Feb. 10, a group of men approached a woman as she tried to enter a store at 5000 Westheimer Road.

The men engaged the woman in a brief conversation, then one of the men forcefully took the woman’s purse which contained cash, credit cards and personal items. The woman was able to take a picture of the man with her cellphone. She reported the incident to law enforcement when she got to work.

The man wanted for questioning is black, between 18-25 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 125-145 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.
