Washington police arrest driver with monkey on his back

A Washington state man is facing charges after getting into some serious monkey business, according to police.

A Washington State Patrol trooper spotted the man speeding 112 mph down a highway in the Seattle suburb of Burien Wednesday morning. The driver exited the highway and lost control of the car, crashing into a rock.

Police said that the man jumped from his car and started to run away, before returning to retrieve his pet monkey. He took off running with the monkey clinging to his back. Officers eventually found the suspect and took him into custody.
