FBI releases photos of Shell Federal Credit Union robbery

Officials search for 3 assailants

HOUSTON – The FBI released images of a robbery at a Shell Federal Credit Union in hopes of tracking down the three armed assailants.

Officials said three armed men entered the credit union at 5544 E. Sam Houston St. at about 2:08 p.m. on Wednesday and ordered customers and employees to the floor at gunpoint.

The FBI said the three men left the credit union without any cash and no one was injured.

The first man is described as black and approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, red knit cap and a red bandana, and was carrying a red backpack.

The second man is described as black, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hoodie, white bandana and black pants.

The third man is described as black, approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hoodie and black pants.

Officials said the men left the area in a gold or silver, newer model four-door Chevy Malibu with paper tags.
