Unidentified motorcyclist killed in crash in downtown Houston

Man crashes into North Freeway on-ramp barricades


HOUSTON – Police are searching for the identity of a motorcyclist killed during a crash in downtown Houston.

Investigators said a man riding a blue Harley-Davidson motorcycle was going northbound on the North Freeway when he lost control and hit a construction sign and barricade barrels placed at an entrance ramp near Travis Street.

Houston firefighter pronounced him dead at the scene.

Officers said no other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.
